East Anglia Diabetic Eye Screening Programme – Stakeholder & Quality Assurance Manager

Office Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum

Closing Date: Tuesday 24th May 2016

The post-holder will be responsible for the collation and report production relating to the quality assurance and performance of the East Anglia Diabetic Eye Screening Programme. This role will also act as Deputy Programme Manager.

In line with the Patient Participation and Patients in Control Agenda the post-holder will also be responsible for communications, promotions and stakeholder/ community engagement activities and feedback to ensure good coverage, uptake and participation including in respect of hard to reach groups and that the Programme is fully integrated across the entire patient pathway; two way discussions take place; views are heard and acted upon and that close collaborative relationships are formed. Stakeholders including GP practices, Hospital Eye Services, CCG’s and LMC’s.  Service Management skills will be necessary to coordinate the performace of the Failsafe, Bookings and Engagment Team to ensure uptake and comminication. Collating and producing reports on performance, audit and interal Quality Assurance aspects of the programme including Service Quality Standards, Key Performance indicators and contractual performance/activity reports.

There will be a need to undertake relevant modules of the C&G Diploma in Diabetic Retinopathy or equivalent.
